Creating a haven for our wildlife on our reserves

We want to develop our sanctuaries and create dynamic habitats for wildlife to thrive. We have several projects we would like to undertake with financial support.

We currently have two members of staff that manage our nine wildlife sanctuaries and to enhance our work, we would like to develop a new volunteering programme that will engage and inspire the local community and other organisations in conservation management. e us to purchase essential tools needed by the volunteers and staff to complete the projects.

This programme will transform our sanctuaries and enable us to complete tasks such as woodland management including coppicing, clearing and replanting, - habitat creation including owl, bird and bat boxes and maintenance including fixing, fencing and pond maintenance.

If you are interested in supporting our sanctuaries, the Partnership Team would love to talk you through it in more detail. Please contact partnerships@league.org.uk or call 01483 524250
