ANIMALS DON’T HAVE A VOICE, BUT TOGETHER WE DO.

DONATE

The brutality of fox hunting is often hidden; the animal's suffering unheard. We are here to protect animals from being harmed or killed in the name of ‘sport’.

We believe that every animal deserves to be heard. Together, we can make enough noise to put an end to the cruelty of hunting. Together, we can give a voice to animals.

EVERY ANIMAL DESERVES TO BE HEARD

Although banned in 2004, hunting with dogs is sadly still happening, as hundreds of animals each year are still being harmed or killed. With 191 registered hunts in the UK, last year alone we gathered over 1,360 suspected reports of fox hunting and recorded 632 fox hunting incidents; continuing the upward trend over recent years.

The evidence is overwhelming. We need your help to make the voices of animals louder, so that we can protect animals from cruel 'sports'.

CUB HUNTING

Hunting and killing a live animal does not come naturally to a fox hound. Cub hunting is used as a training method for young hounds, where over a small area, fox cubs are pushed into the pack rather than involving a long chase. As many as 10,000 fox cubs may be illegally killed every year during cub hunting season.

TRAIL HUNTING

Trail hunting is an invention, which was triggered as a result of the Hunting Act 2004. Hunts now claim they follow a pre-laid animal-based scent trail instead of a fox - even though many hounds are still trained to kill. Terrier men are still present at trail hunts; their sole purpose is to terrify a fox out of hiding by sending terriers underground.

HOW YOUR MONTHLY DONATION WILL HELP

Your donation will help us to:

  1. educate the public about the reality of fox hunting today
  2. call on Parliament to strengthen the Hunting Act 2004
  3. continue the running of our confidential Animal Crimewatch line, where the public can safely report cruelty to animals in the name of ‘sport’
  4. investigate those who persecute animals in the name of ‘sport’, bringing them to justice
  5. protect animals on our sanctuaries, a place where they can live freely from harm

Working towards a kinder society, your donation will make the voices of animals louder, as together we can protect animals from cruel ‘sports’.
