Hybrid working, primarily home-based with weekly requirement to attend our Godalming office

As our Office & HR Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our organisation—helping to create the smooth, supportive environment that makes all our work for animals possible. From keeping our office running brilliantly to assisting the People & Culture team with essential daily tasks, your role ensures our staff feel valued and equipped and helps to power our charity’s mission to make the world a better place for animals.

What You'll Do:

  • Liaise with the charity’s suppliers
  • Raise purchase orders and process invoices and expenses
  • Conduct regular office safety checks
  • Assist in recruitment administration, logging applications and arranging interviews
  • Collate content for a monthly newsletter
  • Schedule regular HR, safety and office renewals
  • Schedule recruitment adverts and interviews
  • Book venues and catering for events
  • Schedule, prepare papers and minute regular meetings

Who You Are:

  • An organised and proactive professional with previous experience within an admin role 
  • A proficient multi-tasker who is able to prioritise effectively
  • An effective communicator, both written and verbal, to foster understanding and collaboration across teams and stakeholders
  • An experienced user of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
