Almost 20 years since the Hunting Act 2004 came into force the hunters have managed to circumvent it and carry on chasing and killing wild animals with impunity. How? Because of a number of loopholes – weaknesses – within the legislation that give them the means to carry on without the police being able to do anything about it.

Not only that, but the hunts invented something called trail hunting, which has been described by many people as a smokescreen for old fashioned illegal hunting.
