Volunteering to help animals

If you are able to devote some of your spare time to help protect animals, how about volunteering for the League?

You may wish to volunteer at one of our wildlife sanctuaries on Exmoor National Park in the West Country. You could also join one of our supporter groups, and we occasionally have volunteer opportunities at our Head Office in Godalming, Surrey, and in our London office.

Volunteering at our wildlife sanctuaries

Our sanctuaries are areas of wild land where we have purchased the ‘shooting’ rights, meaning that no shooting or hunting of animals can take place. As a result, they are home to a wide range of animals and birds, including rare species.

Joining a League Supporter Group

The League also has an active Supporter Group network around the country which you may wish to join. Our Supporter Groups organise all sorts of events and activities to get our message out there, including street stalls, raising awareness and contacting their MP.

Volunteering at our office

The League is an exciting place to be, as there’s always something happening! If you have skills you’d like to offer to help us help animals, please get in touch.

For more information on volunteering, please contact us on 01483 524 250 or complete our contact form. Whether you are a student, retired or simply have some spare time and would like to get involved, we would love to hear from you.
