This year you can enter photographs in one, two, or all the following categories:
Beautiful Birds
Thousands of majestic ‘game’ birds lose their lives to shooting every year.
For this category, we will accept entries featuring any species of bird found in the UK, but we particularly encourage photos featuring red grouse, pheasants or partridges.

Last year's winner: Joanne Goostrey
Wild Mammals
The League is proud to be working towards a better future for persecuted animals.
We will accept entries featuring any species of wild mammal found in the UK, but we particularly encourage photos featuring deer, stags, foxes, hare and badgers.

Last year's winner: Richard Birchett
Beloved Dogs
We are a nation of dog-lovers, but the tragic reality is that hundreds of dogs are forced to fight for ‘sport’ every year in the UK and greyhound racing is still a mainstream form of ‘entertainment’.
We will accept entries featuring any dog breed, but we particularly encourage photos featuring greyhounds and bull breeds.

Last Year's Winner: Steve Midgley
