Northern Ireland’s Hunting Shame

Northern Ireland Assembly Elections 2022 - make them count for animals

Help us use these Elections to put pressure on the next Executive to introduce, or support, legislation that ends hunting wild mammals with dogs in Northern Ireland.

If like us, you are shocked that Northern Ireland is the only part of the UK that still allows people to use dogs to chase, terrorise and kill wild mammals, then please join our campaign. We think this barbaric pastime has no place in a modern, progressive Northern Ireland and we want to highlight this over the Election period.

We want the Assembly to make time, as soon as possible after the Elections, to revisit the issue of hunting wild mammals with dogs. Please help us make this happen by telling your candidates how important animal welfare is to you.

Take Action

Please take action today and contact all the candidates standing in your area to ask them to pledge their support for a ban on hunting wild mammals with dogs.

The time to end Northern Ireland’s hunting shame is now.
