Natural Resources Wales announces 'trail' hunting licences suspension

BREAKING: Natural Resources Wales / Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru has taken the step of suspending trail hunting on its land.

With some of the biggest landowners in England and Wales suspending ‘trail’ hunting because of the contents of the Hunting Office’s webinars, and subsequent police investigation, it surely has to be a question of when, not if, others follow suit.

Organisations such as the Church of England, Defra, Crown Estates, Duchy of Cornwall, local authorities, the national parks authorities, and the Ministry of Defence issuing licences need to sit up and pay attention. They need to ask themselves whether they should remain complicit in facilitating the ‘smokescreen’ that is trail hunting or be proactive in stopping it.
