Leave a gift in your will to protect animals

To leave a gift in your will is a meaningful and significant way of protecting animals today and long into the future.

A legacy donation protects animals from those who see them as nothing more than part of a ‘sport’ to be enjoyed. You’ll be ensuring that after you’re gone, you’ll still be inspiring change and creating a kinder society. You will have a place in our future and the future of the wildlife and animals you love.

Our guide to gifts in wills gives advice about wording to use in your will, or how to amend an existing will to leave a gift to charity.

We honour all our legacy donors with an engraved leaf on a Tree of Life, at our Baronsdown Wildlife Sanctuary, where we provide a safe haven for wildlife at risk from hunting on the surrounding estate lands.

We understand you will want to ensure your loved ones are taken care of first. However, even a small charity legacy could make an enormous difference for animals suffering persecution in the name of ‘sport’.

United, we can end hunting, shooting and canine cruelty forever and build a society where cruelty to animals is a thing of the past.

If you would like to discuss making a legacy gift to the League, please contact us on 01483 524 250 or email [email protected]. All conversations will be treated in the strictest confidence.

We’ve been members of the League for many years and the more we’ve come to know of their wonderful work, the more we’ve tried to help. We are so happy that our support can continue long after we’re gone.
