Help us expose the cruel slaughter behind the celebrations – and end it.

Christmas is meant to be a time of love, laughter and family gatherings. But not all festive traditions are cheerful.

As children celebrate their presents from Santa Claus, animals are running for their lives from red-coated hunters. As we gather with our loved ones, packs of baying hounds crash through the countryside. A terrified mother fox, deer or hare becomes separated from her offspring: within seconds her family is brutally torn apart.

Stand up for animals and stop illegal hunting

Most people think blood sports no longer stain Britain. But our magnificent deer, beautiful foxes and spirited hares continue to be killed for the thrill of the chase.

Hunters use the traditional Boxing Day Hunt to convince the public that their hounds only follow artificial trails. But it’s a cynical smokescreen. On every other day of the festive season, the slaughter continues – with hunt monitors only having witnessed trails being laid on an average of 3% of the occasions they monitored trail hunts since the ban started”. Meanwhile, the threat of the hunting ban being repealed is ever-present.
