Fundraising & Legacy Manager

Location: Hybrid Working – mostly homebased with requirements to attend events and head office in Godalming as required  
Contract: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover), January – September 2024 
Salary: Up to £35, 000 per annum, plus 8% employer pension contribution 
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week, flexible working and compressed hours available  

Are you dedicated to ending animal cruelty in the name of 'sport'? If so, we want you to join our dynamic team at the League Against Cruel Sports. As a leading campaigning organisation, we actively combat the persecution of wild animals for 'sport' in the modern world. Now, we're looking for an experienced Fundraising & Legacy Manager to help us make a real positive impact on animals' lives. 

What You’ll Do: 
As our Fundraising & Legacy Manager, you will play a crucial role in inspiring supporters to make a lasting difference through legacy giving. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing and delivering engaging supporter events, both virtual and in-person, to raise income and promote our mission. 
  • Crafting impactful supporter updates, including our regular Protect magazine, to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of our supporters. 
  • Orchestrating offline and online legacy marketing campaigns to strengthen the legacy income pipeline.

Who We're Looking For: 
We need a proactive individual with a passion for animal welfare, boasting: 

  • Proven experience in a third sector fundraising role 
  • Experience designing and delivering regular giving strategies 
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics.
