Two men connected to Belvoir hunt charged with Robbery and Wounding Two men connected to the Belvoir Hunt, appeared before Leicester Magistrates’ Court yesterday. The court was told that George Grant, 56 years, and his son Thomas Grant, 25 years, face charges of Robbery and Wounding in respect of an incident which is alleged to have occurred on 12th March 2016 at Strathern, near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. The complainants in respect of those charges are investigators employed by the League Against Cruel Sports. Both defendants were granted unconditional bail to appear at Leicester Crown Court on 20th November 2017.
