This summer the League Against Cruel Sports will be hosting picnics at iconic National Trust properties – and we’re inviting you to join us.
The picnics will be fun for the whole family with activities for children, competitions, cakes and the important part of raising awareness of hunting on National Trust land.

As you may have heard, the League and other organisations has been lobbying the National Trust to ban trail hunting on its land. With the help of our supporters and the pressure put on the National Trust by the public we have seen the number of licenses issued fall year on year. During the last hunting season we also saw, for the first time, licenses revoked.

Nonetheless, hunting still happens on National Trust land and we would like to invite you to support our ongoing campaign to see a permanent stop to it by joining in our fun day out.

Please bring picnic food and blanket, and invite your friends and family to join us in our campaign to remind the National Trust that trail hunting is not the legal, legitimate ‘sport’ it claims it is.
