Bullfighting

bullfighting landing page

Bullfighting takes place in a relatively small number of countries across the world including Spain, Portugal, France, Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador and the USA.

Besides traditional bullfighting events, there are many bull running and/or fiesta events, which often lead to the death of the bull at the end. In many cases this is a barbaric conclusion that the participating public are unaware of.

Many countries have banned bullfighting by law. These countries include Argentina, Canada, Cuba, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

The League Against Cruel Sports campaigns to stop bullfighting and all other cruel fiesta events involving animals, such as the Pamplona Bull Run and the Toro del Fuego.

STA Victory

Over 12,000 supporters took action and helped the League's campaign to stop travel company STA promoting bullfighting holidays.
