Are you interested in actively campaigning in your region to help us bring an end to cruelty inflicted on animals in the name of sport? Would you like to meet and work with like-minded individuals in order to do so? By joining one of our supporter groups you can take action together.
Each of our groups runs slightly differently and has their own character and fundraising or campaigning strategies. Activities undertaken include: information stalls in town centres and at local events; library displays; organising and establishing own League events; parliamentary lobbying; writing letters to the press and using innovative and creative ideas in order to raise valuable funds for the League.
To find your nearest group, take a look at the map below. Each group has provided a method of contact – drop them a line/e-mail and see if it’s for you. All of our groups are lovely, friendly people and are delighted to hear from prospective members. You can invest as much time as you like. We hugely appreciate those who kindly dedicate some of their valuable time to help us raise awareness of the barbaric cruelties that continue to be inflicted on animals.
If there is not a group in your area, and you would be interested in establishing one, please e-mail our Supporter Group Relations Officer, Di Lamont on firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 01483 524 250. She can provide you with details on what is involved and guide you through the first steps.
To be added to our e-mail list, provided exclusively to local group members and those who campaign individually on our behalf, please let Di know. Monthly focuses, tips and ideas and provided, as well as an update from other active groups.
