The League Against Cruel Sports receives no government or Lottery funding for its campaigning work, and relies solely on the generosity of its members and supporters.
Hunting animals for sport is illegal, but the law is being broken. The League uses investigators and legal professionals to work with Police and courts to catch wildlife criminals.
Hunting wild animals with dogs for sport was banned in 2004. But the process to make it legal again has begun. MPs may be asked to vote and determined pro hunting groups are doing all they can to make their blood sport legal again.
