"There is no justification for  hunting of animals in the name of sport or leisure. It's cruel and inhumane.  I actively campaigned for the Hunting Ban, and I will continue to campaign to keep the ban in place. 

The League Against Cruel Sports has been instrumental in raising awareness of this issue, and I will work with them to ensure that there is no backtracking."
