I still do not understand why this barbaric practice has not been totally banned, we see the evidence with our own eyes of hunt monitors being attacked and beaten and yet it is the hunt monitors who are blamed for the violence. I think we should have a look at the countryside police force in this country and find out how many of them ride to hounds on their day off and do their superiors know about it?.

If nothing else, this damning video shows the link between vicious abuse of animals and vicious abuse of fellow-humans. Another thought: when it is considered necessary to microchip dogs to deal with irresponsibe owners, is it not time to crack down hard on hunt staff who let hounds run amok and illegqally persecute our wildlife?

This video shows quite clearly the extent the fox hunters are willing to go in an attempt to get around the law. It also shows how cruel fox hunting can be to the Hounds - who are only doing what they have been brought up from puppies to do = by evil humans - who call this sport !!! = All type of Animal hunting must stop, = It is cruel inhumane and barbaric. = Never ever can you call this sport. = I would like to see more hunters go to prison as that is where they should be.

I think that everyone should wright to there local mp to get a ban on all hunting and to put a stop to all creoilty how would they it if we were to hunt them down and kill them I don't think they would like it so please put a stop to it now
Allan Booyjzsen
It is absolutely disgusting and to make things worse the hunters are from the elite sector of the population. It is done purely for the 'fun' and 'amusement' of these so called inteligent gentry. Perhaps it is due to inbreeding of the upper class.

I'm sick to death of hearing about the hunting law being ignored. Why are people able to get away with it. No other laws seem to be ignored in the same way. I honestly believe they think they can't all be prosecuted. Well done to the league against cruel sports for keeping this in the public knowledge. I'm 110% committed to stop this illegal and barbaric behaviour.

Get a grip you self righteous idiots!!
Paula Roscoe
It must be stopped - the rich cannot be allowed to behave in such a barbaric fashion - they are not above the law as they obviously think they are.
Kathy
It seems some think they are above the law. How is it that recordings of this cruelty is available to the police and yet prosecutions are few and far between. I must make comment on footage where there are animals hurt (Dog on railway) and your photographer was more interested in filming than helping...This makes them as bad as the hunters for seeming uncaring and it lets you down.
Billie Jackson
How can we call ourselves kind, caring human beings when we can put animals through things like this. Please, please help stop this!
Peter Jennings
Thank you to the League for all you do to stop all the cruelty .

Typically disgusting behaviour from the animal abusers! Good to get these incidents on camera; terrible suffering for the hounds. Please keep up the excellent work.

this is shocking all hunting should be banned
N Trodd.
Sad, Bad, and people should be made aware of what is still going on.

It´s awful to see of this footage, and even if this is only a few people doing this, it´s shameful and it should stop. Hunting should be banned or only be legal in a very strict way for extreme cases. Adam from Catalonia. I feel sorry for the animas in this video and for some of the people injured by the hunters of suporters. I hope these criminals are put in jail, at least there they can´t kill animals in prisons, (except insects).
Isabel Meyerhans
These hunters are nothing but dangerous and cruel criminals. It's time to ban hunting, as nature regulates by itself.

to see these barbarck acts on both animals and humans make me sick to my stomach, just so many stupid men can feel big and do what they call a sport id like to hunt them down with a pack of wolves and see how they feel when there heart nearly beats out of ther chest with fright just before they are ripped to bits

LIBERTAD Y RESPETO PARA TODOS LOS ANIMALES.
Joe
Nice to see that all of those with unimformed opinions have joined in the hunt bashing. To those who stated nature self regulates, you are incorrect. How many natural preditors to foxes crrently have? Excluding humans, non. Another example is Deer, they too have no other predators than humans. We are still animals ourselfs, albeit more intelegent but still part of nature, and also top of the food chain. If these foxes are not hunted, they are simply shot instead, and this method kills greater numbers with relative ease, so banning hunting will not 'save' them. I am fully prepared for the hail of abuse that will be thrown at me, as a regular game and pest species shooter I have been heckled and abused, several times physically, by animal rights protesters. Thank you all for your time.

i find it so disgusting that anyone could get any pleasure at all from seeing any animal be tortured then killed. mind you, wouldn't mind seeing some of these sick people treated the same way. you know, a taste of there own medicine

What progress is the LACS making in its representations to the Sentencing Council to ensure that really effective penalties - i.e. custodial sentences are issued for those who disregard the Hunting Act? The miserly fines currently issued do not seem to me to be anywhere near sufficient incentive to obey the law.
Peter Grinham
When you see some of the evidence of blatant disregard for the law and, worse still, the enjoyment of killing for so called sport, is it any wonder that some animal lovers feel no alternative but to break the law themselves in their responses. However, the law only punishes them not the landed gentry and their moronic low life followers. This country desperately needs a united animal lobby including all groups with one central voice and message- a lobby such as the HSUS, which congress has to listen to or presidents elect lose a substantial vote by it being firmly in the public arena and the highly publicised recommendation to vote for the candidate with animal interests at heart. The only way to a politician is to have the power to threaten his vote. The answer should be the RSPCA but parts of them are part of the problem
