Following the recent announcements that two pilot areas have been chosen for the badger cull we have been busy preparing our campaign.
Two locations in West Gloucestershire and West Somerset have been chosen where farmers and landowners can now apply for licenses allowing badgers to be shot on their land. The cull could begin as early as this autumn so we really need your help now.
We feel very strongly that the badger cull is not the best approach to deal with bovine TB and so together with our partner organisations we will be asking farmers and landowners to sign a declaration stating that they will not participate in the cull.
We’ll be revealing the details of our campaign very soon. Until then, if you live in or around the cull areas; are concerned about the cull, and want to help, then please get in touch.
