In our final video blog of 2010, Christina reviews the League's latest polling and media coverage of the traditional Boxing Day hunt. Her colleagues from the Campaigns Team also introduce some of our plans for 2011, and our Chief Executive announces his retirement.

Peter (hey, I spelled your name locrectry)- I guess we may only agree to disagree, but hear me out please.Politicians are influenced by both pro-union & anti-union money/lobbying. You state the status quo resists change, and I beg to differ. I have personally been involved in our union's last 4 contracts (spanning 12 years), and my union & city have come up with many creative ways to get deals done during negotiations. Surely, this has happened elsewhere as well. I come to this website to understand the anti-union side, and frankly, am appalled at the many generalizations some people state here regarding their anti-union views. Unions do realize municipalities' budgets aren't a bottomless pit today. Let the local jurisdictions negotiate without SB 5 (Issue 2).
