Review of 2010: Coniston Hunt Bullies

Written by on 27 December, 2010 : 07:11

Over the next few days we'll be posting some of our favourite and the most significant film clips added to our YouTube channel this year. This follows Friday's video blog which reflected on the year past, and leads us to this coming Friday's video blog, which looks ahead to the League's work in 2011.

The first film in the series is of the bullies from the Coniston Foxhounds in Cumbria, who attacked a League monitor and almost ran over another. The people involved were cautioned. The film demonstrates the personal danger faced by our brave investigators and monitors every day.

We'll publish another film tomorrow, and another each day this week.

When I accompanied saboteurs before the ban, the police were usually on the scene in numbers even before we arrived, chatting with the killers and ready to arrest us as what the hunt were doing was still legal. We all know what has happened since the ban, the law is too busy to stop crime.

What a bunch of thugs! Their behaviour is disgusting. Hardly surprising they have so little respect for their fellow human beings when they love nothing more than terrorising defenceless animals.

yes i agree this behaviuor is not exceptable, but many saboteurs try and hurt the horse who are also defenceless animals, they often put nails on the roads that horse are just about to trot down, also many of the saboteurs them selves have asultted many people, one was told that they were tresspassing private propetey and they pushed a ppoor women to the floor now is that respect also, chikens are defenceless creatures, foxes go into chiken huts kill all of the chikens then only take one , its all part of the coutryside, food chains and traditions just like hunting many people that are against fox hunting dont even know anything about it like they think we shout foxes err noo we don't over all i think you need to do your research ..
Lorna
I think you need to do a little research into improving your English skills, Mary...
